Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance

The maintenance of quality delivery is essential to Sport Structures. we have in place a robust quality assurance system for all our delivery whether regulated or non-regulated coach, volunteer or professional workforce delivery.

Each area sets out its quality assurance approach depending on the needs of an Awarding body, regulatoary body such as OFSTED or our partner in delivery. Our overall quality assurance policy and strategy can be seen on the website About Us pages. This lays out our philosophical approach and the rationale for the interventions to maintain quality of delivery.

Within the Education department we hve identified our approach to maintaining quality of delivery. This will be about verifying a range of interventions including:

  • Tutor performance
  • Assessor performance
  • Administrative processes
  • Learner experience
  • Tutor and assessor experience

Each course will have a sampling plan based on the interventions above and the level of risk associated to the tutor/assessor and/or the course. This will be applied as detailed in the attached document. Attached to this page are the criteria documents we use to carry out these interventions so tutors and assessors are fully aware of the criteria they are being verified in. the verifiers will be experts in the subject area and also qualified to level 4 in Internal Quality Assurance or equivalent.

The intervention resources attached are:

  • Tutor observation of performance
  • Assessor observation of performance
  • Desk based sampling - products of work
  • Learner interview report
  • Quality assurance report
  • Quality Assurance Training
