“Jessica joined British Blind Sport for 7 months. Due to the short term of the contract we needed someone to hit the ground running and meet the outcomes set. She did do with flying colours and achieved everything we expected and more. She slotted in seamlessly with the team and would be valuable addition to any organisation”Logan Gray, National Sport Development Manager, British Blind Sport

The insight gained from the work will enable Birmingham County FA to better understand non-consumers, their needs, expectations and any cultural/traditional/ religious needs.”Juned Mohammed, Birmingham County FA
“It was fantastic to work with Sports Structures again this year. They delivered above expectations with the brief that was set, which has enabled the programme to go from strength to strength and further the reach to even more young people. They have been a great addition to the team. Thank you.”Guy Botterill, RNLI

"The process was excellent in challenging our Board to critically think about where we want to be in the next five years and whether we truly understand how best to utilise our strengths and work on our biggest challenges to get there.”Ross Perriam, CEO Exercise Movement and Dance UK
"The range of courses on offer was very broad and we undertook sessions on leading meetings, and social media and marketing with Sport Structures tutors. They were very thorough in their preparation, ensuring the courses were tailored to our needs on both occasions. The feedback from staff on the training was very good and the experience will certainly help staff and the organisation greatly moving forward."Guy Rippon, Head of Aston Villa Foundation

“The community activator coach fits perfectly with our needs and provides the all-round competencies required of a coach to work for us. Sport Structures deliver this to their usual high standard and offer excellent support and guidance to us as the employer and the apprentice. Sport Structures have added further value to the standard by including the level 2 certificate in supporting learning in physical education and school sport which is brilliant for us. We are super pleased to be working with Sport Structures and we hope to continue working with them for the foreseeable future!”Jamie Segrave - JS Sports & Education
“The L5 leadership and management course has really encouraged me to reflect on and evaluate my experiences of management, learn and understand new methods and apply what I’ve learnt into my current practices. I have been encouraged to work at my own pace and the support and knowledge from the tutor has been excellent and really challenged my thought processes. Not only this but doing my job and evidencing new/existing processes has counted towards my portfolio which has made some criteria easy to achieve! I definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to take on, or improve within, a management role.”Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager standard learner
From complex internal plans to coach development strategies, we explore the challenges of implementation and the crucial role these plans play in supporting both paid and volunteer workforces. We raise important questions about whether these plans are driven by funding or the genuine needs of the people they aim to serve.
