Sport Structures - Sport Education and Training

We are one of the largest sport training providers and have operated nationally in the sport and physical activity sector for 20 years through our Education CIC.

Our approach to supporting the sport and physical sector is driven by our vision and mission and underpinned by our core values.

Developing people has always been at the heart of our work and we are committed to supporting wider sector ambitions and working collaboratively with partners to achieve a diverse, inclusive, supported and professionally regulated workforce.

In order to achieve this, we work closely with partners to offer high-quality learning opportunities which are accessible and relevant to individuals who are or aspire to be working in sport and physical activity, including:

  • Working with staff and students to support minimum deployment training opportunities
  • Teachers working in schools to support curricular and extra-curricular sport
  • Upskilling volunteers working in a club or community environment
  • Delivering qualifications for those seeking to become coach educators

Why Organise a Course With Us

We work with organisations to support their workforce to ensure they have the right knowledge, skills and behaviours. We pride ourselves on providing relevant and high-quality learning and development opportunities that are tailored to meet learner needs, based on our company values. For example, some learners may respond better to face to face courses whilst others prefer virtual learning.

Organising A Course

Please note, this is a standard course process and is subject to change, especially if organisations have their own workforce and wish to take bookings themselves.

Quality assurance is also built into the process for qualifications only.

Using Your Own Workforce (1st4Sport)

We recognise that course organisers often have staff with the appropriate skills and expertise to deliver courses, rather than using a member of our workforce.

For a small number of the qualifications we offer, mainly through 1st4Sport, we are able to work with course organisers to upskill their workforce to become recognised tutors and or assessors, if their qualifications, skills and experience meet the relevant workforce criteria.

Our Courses

We regularly review the range of courses and workshops we offer to ensure they remain relevant to the needs of the sport and physical activity sector and are accessible to our learners. This includes a range of delivery formats and competitive pricing.
