Next month, we will be running a course to upskill aspiring assessors or assessors who are currently operating but remain unqualified.
The course will focus on qualifying learners in the 1st4sport Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally-Related Achievement (AVRA) or the 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA).
AVRA focuses on supporting learners to carry out assessments of vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the work environment (i.e. a simulated environment). Alternatively CAVA is specifically for those who assess occupational competence both in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding outside of the workplace (e.g. in a workshop, classroom or other training environment).
The qualification(s) are transferable to any sector learners have occupational competence in and attract assessors who assess on vocational coaching courses. For further information, please click here.
