Our CEO Simon Kirkland recently arrived back from a four day trip to the Ivory Coast where he lead the teaching and learning on the FIBA Referee Instructors Programme. The programme is was delivered to instructors in Africa with participants attending from over twenty different countries including Egypt, South Africa and Cameroon.
The FIBA programme was first introduced in 2016. The programme is designed to give participants up to date teaching and learning techniques to improve the quality of training offered to their instructors and referees. Earlier this year, Simon visited Croatia to deliver the programme and in recent years has also visited Athens, Turkey and Australia.
