Summary:
We were commissioned by runningsports to develop a workshop for potential and existing volunteer coordinators to act as a follow to the successful Valuing Sports
Approach:
To develop the workshop we consulted with a borad range of individuals and organisaitons particularly governing bodies to identify the key outcomes of the workshop. This built on our previous experience of developing workshops for volunteer coordinators with the RFU.
Once the outcomes were established we developed the workshop and the supporting resource. This was piloted in two areas of the country before final production was approved. Tutor orientation was provided to accredited runninsports tutors.
Outcome:
The workshop is one of the connerstones of runningsports workshop programme and has been taliored to suit the needs of specific governing bodies. The workshop resource can be purchased through our education and resources pages.
