Flag Football's Journey to the LA 2028 Olympics.

The world of sports is ever-evolving, with new additions to the Olympic programme showcasing the diversity of athletic talent. One such exciting development is the inclusion of flag football in the LA 2028 Olympics. This dynamic and spectator-friendly sport is set to make its Olympic debut, and I am thrilled to share my personal involvement in this exciting journey, thanks to the recent work I have undertaken with the British American Football Association (BAFA).

Recently, I had the privilege of working closely with the British American Football Association (BAFA) to bring their online Level 1 Flag Football Coaching Course to life. Together with BAFA, we developed an online coaching course that has the potential to introduce new people to coaching flag football. This course covers everything from the fundamentals to advanced strategies, providing coaches with a comprehensive toolkit to develop flag football. It is brilliant working with partners like BAFA to create courses that can have a real impact on coaching.

As we eagerly count down to the LA 2028 Olympics, I find myself even more invested in the success of flag football on this grand stage. The inclusion of flag football in the LA 2028 Olympics is a remarkable achievement for the sport. Hopefully, somebody who undertakes this course will be in some way involved in future Olympic games, either by coaching a future team member or by inspiring them to take up the sport.
