Summary
Coaches from a Birmingham Basketball club attended our Runningsports ‘Awards for all’ workshop in June 2008. After gaining knowledge and practical tips from the workshop, the club received funding to support their club.
Approach
Force girls Basketball coaches attended the Awards for All workshop to acquire funding for club to support junior development. The tutor went through the workshop resource very thoroughly and allowed attendees to complete the worksheets, establish an action plan and also answer any queries.
Outcome
Thanks to the workshop and assistance, the club received funding for £8,000 from Awards for All.
The club fully recommends attendance at the workshop with as many club committee members as possible.
