Through our experience of delivering multi-skills courses to apprentices in partnership with Lifetime Training, we were approached to support internal staff to become tutors of the multi-skills qualification.
Approach
We met with Lifetime Training to understand needs and establish whether staff met the relevant workforce criteria to deliver the qualification. A bespoke training course was delivered to cover course content (theoretically and practically), qualification and quality assurance requirements and administration processes.
Outcome
The staff are now in the process of completing their multi-skills qualification and many of them are now tutoring the 1st4Sport Level 2 Certificate in Multi-Skills.
