Summary
Sport Structures were commissioned to support the ABAE towards the Intermediate level of the Equality Standard for Sport following the successful achievement of the Foundation and Preliminary levels.
Approach
Sport Structures has carried out a full staff and Board Training Needs Analysis to identify the areas for development. We are working to develop an Equality Impact Assessment tool for the NGB to use when reviewing their policies and programmes, and will be coordinating further equality work that will contribute to the requirements of the standards.
Outcome
Work towards the Standards continues as we work with the NGB.
