Summary:
Northfield District (Birmingham City Council) Sports Development Officer commissioned Sport Structures to undertake a facility audit as part of a sports development audit for the Northfield district.
Approach
Through direct liaison with the SDO of Northfield District a facility audit was produced, via both direct contact and email distribution the targeted facilities in the district responded to the audit. 2001 National Census data concerning the local demographics were also used to support development issues. Finally, local and regional funding opportunities were explored to further extend the audit outcomes.
Outcome
The analysis of collected data from the specifically designed facility audit in addition to the separate sports development audit provided a conclusive facility and sports development assessment report.
