Summary:
Sport Structures focused on the creating the West of England Sport Trust policy and the development of evidence for the Equality Standard for Sport.
Approach:
The project was split into two distinct phases. Phase one was quite lengthy and focused on a number of key areas of work:
- A review of their current equality work
- The development of an equity implementation plans
Phase two focuses solely on the identification, development and collation of evidence for the foundation and preliminary levels of the Equality Standard.
Outcome:
Wesport achieved the foundation level of the standard and are working towards the preliminary level.
