Outline
We worked with County Durham Sport to develop a package of support to educate local clubs on the funding opportunities available in the sector through the COVID-19 period. In recent years, County Durham Sport have not directly focused on club development so this is a great chance for Active Partnership to build a club network and secure their place as a key partner in this area.
Approach
The project was broken up into the following key stages:

- Podcast
The focus was in particular on the stimulation fund which has been put in place to support clubs in re-starting physical activity.
Outcome
We engaged with 10 individuals from local Durham sports clubs as well as offering a bespoke FAQ focused on Durham County Sport bespoke support (which included the links to other programmes like satellite club delivery). We hope to go on to provide further support through the club matters suite.
