The Archery GB Instructor Award prepares you to deliver safe, effective and enjoyable sessions for beginners. You do not need extensive archery experience to start, and the course combines practical learning with the knowledge needed to manage a session.
This page is for individuals booking a place on a scheduled course. If you are planning to train staff or volunteers together, you can organise a course for your group.
Work with a tutor over two face-to-face days and practise delivering beginner activities safely.

Eligibility and assessment
Who can attend?
You must be at least 17 years old and able to communicate effectively in English, including listening, speaking, reading and writing. The course is suitable for people with little or no prior archery experience.
How are you assessed?
Assessment includes a multiple-question test paper and a practical assessment of approximately 30 minutes focused on delivering an archery session.
