Summary
We supported the Board of England Korfball in the development of their governance and board membership.
Approach
Our approach involved a number of processes including:
- Production of Board skills, competence, knowledge and experience matrix
- Role descriptions for board members
- Induction process for board members
- Key policies and procedures
We developed these documents based on our previous experience. We worked closely with the Chairman and developed these in a format to suit the needs of the current board and and potential new members.
Outcome
England Korfball now have clear processes to identify requirements for the recruitment and retention of volunteers.
