This apprenticeship focuses on teaching an individual how to collect, organise and study data to provide business insight.
The Level 4 Data Analyst standard is a 2 year apprenticeship and covers how to collect, organise and study data to provide business insight. The standard includes two core qualifications: the BCS Level 4 Certificate in Data Analysis Tools and the BCS Level 4 Diploma in Data Analysis Concepts.
The apprenticeship is taught by our qualified tutors and will be assessed through an end point assessment. The programme is delivered through a series of face to face group sessions at a suitable venue.
Apprentices must be employed for the duration of the apprenticeship and work at least 30 hours per week for their employer with 20 per cent of their time allocated to ‘off the job’ training. The apprentices will be assessed via an end point assessment including a portfolio summary, an assigned project, a structured interview and an employer reference to check they have gained the required knowledge, skills and behaviours to achieve the data analyst standard.
