The Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship equips an individual with the skills of collecting, organising and studying data to provide business insight.
The Level 4 Data Analyst standard is a 2 year apprenticeship and covers how to collect, organise and study data to provide business insight, which are fundamental skills found in data analytics courses. The standard includes two core qualifications: the BCS Level 4 Diploma in Data Analysis Concepts and the EMC: Data Science Associate. The data analyst training that is embedded throughout this apprenticeship will provide learners with a sound understanding for any business analyst role and incorporates elements of business apprenticeships and IT apprenticeships.
The apprenticeship will be delivered by our qualified tutors through a series of face to face group sessions at the Sports Structures office in Birmingham or another suitable venue as well as via remote group webinar sessions. The training is delivered in groups to maximise the support that apprentices gain from their tutors, employers and peers.
Apprentices must be employed for the duration of the apprenticeship and work at least 30 hours per week for their employer with 20 per cent of their time allocated to ‘off the job’ training. The apprentices will be assessed via an end point assessment which includes a portfolio summary, a project, a structured interview and an employer reference to ensure they have gained the required knowledge, skills and behaviours to achieve the data analyst standard.
