The Level 2 Community Activator Coach is a 14 to 18 month apprenticeship where the apprentice will work in a coaching or activity leadership role for an organisation that deliver in the community.
We have extensive experience working in the sports sector alongside knowledgeable and experienced tutors who teach this standard. Learning modules are delivered at an employer’s workplace often as a group and each apprentice is given a toolkit to support them. The standard is assessed via an end assessment by Active IQ through a variety of methods including observations of coaching, completion of work products and written questions and tasks. Additional e-learning modules are included in the delivery plan to enhance a learner’s knowledge and understanding.
Apprentices must be employed for the duration of the apprenticeship and work at least 30 hours per week for their employer with 20 per cent of their time allocated to ‘off the job’ training. The apprentices will be assessed via an end assessment to check they have gained the required knowledge, skills and behaviours to achieve the community activator coach standard.
