Location: Ilkeston, DE7 5BB

Weekly Wage: £129.00

Working Week: Monday - Friday (Times to be confirmed)

Total hours per week: 30

Duration: 14 months

Positions: 1 available

Possible Start Date: 25 Jun 2021

The PE & School Sport Apprentice will be responsible for assisting the planning, preparation and delivery of high quality PE and sport provision to children and young people in mainly an education environment. They will be expected to have an interest in cycling and complete the Bikeability training and be involved in the delivery of the programme.

Duties include:

  • Improving the quality of our delivery is at the heart of all development work at First Grade Sports Ltd.
  • The drive is to make all the sessions we deliver of a good standard
  • We are committed to providing training opportunities for all employees and regularly hold in-house sessions to share good practice and ideas
  • Coaching planning and delivering PE sessions, and you will need to back this up with relevant paperwork
  • Working alongside members of staff to learn how to deliver PE sessions to a high standard
  • You will be expected to obtain additional coaching qualifications e.g. Bikeability

We work in close partnership with a number of different organisations including School Games Organisers and National Governing Bodies. Our current workforce includes a number of PE Teachers and qualified sports coaches.
