Sports Project Officer
I work predominately on projects for clients, varying from developing grassroots programmes through to coordinating National initiatives. I have most recently been embedded within organisations such as Active Black Country, Activity Alliance, and British Blind Sport, each of which has developed my skills and abilities as a versatile and experienced sport development professional. I pride myself on my interpersonal skills and passion for ensuring everyone has the opportunity to be involved in sport and physical activity!
Ask me about…….
Project and programme management, embedded services and equality and diversity.
When I am not working…….
I am watching some sort of crime series or out for cocktails with the girls and exploring new cities! Currently a semi-retired netballer due to a knee injury but looking forward to getting back into it.
My colleagues say…….
Jess is a pleasure to work with, she is positive and passionate and has a fantastic understanding of what sport development means today. Jess always gets the job done, is a great team player and excels at bringing people together to deliver a project.
“Fantastic work Jess – you’re a credit to Sport Structures and you personally give Activity Alliance the reassurance with your skills and knowledge that we would definitely use your/sport structures services in the future”
Ray Ashley, Head of Engagement, Activity Alliance.
