About Us

Senior Project Manager

Role

I predominately work on managing projects for clients, varying from developing grassroots programmes through to coordinating National initiatives. A few recent examples include management of: our Sport England Club Matters contract; FA Education’s Project Central and their operations team governance; 2 strategic reviews of FA Education’s operating models; and the ‘disability coaching project’ with the British Equestrian Federation.

I have also been embedded in several organisations over the years such as Active Black Country, Think Active, Activity Alliance, and British Blind Sport, each of which has developed my skills and abilities as a versatile and experienced sport development professional.

Internally I manage the Operations group and ensure that our operations are as efficient and effective as can be so my colleagues can deliver the best service possible. I pride myself on my interpersonal skills and desire for ensuring everyone has the opportunity to be involved in sport and physical activity!

Ask me about...

Project and programme management, embedded services and equality and diversity.

When I am not working…

I enjoy socialising with friends and family, watching any (yes any) rubbish reality TV, taking a million pictures of my cat Binky, chasing the sun (now that we can), playing netball and being on the committee of 2 local netball leagues in Shropshire.

My colleagues say…

Jess is a pleasure to work with, she is positive and passionate and has a fantastic understanding of what sport development means today. Jess always gets the job done, is a great team player and excels at bringing people together to deliver a project.

Client Testimonials
