Tutor / Assessor
I use my 20+ years as a PE teacher - working across the Key Stages in both the state and private sectors - to tutor and assess Apprentice Sports Coaches in Activity Leadership and PE and School Sport (PESS). I also lead Multi-Skills Award and Certificate courses. My roles take me across the south/south-east of England; from my home in Kent to Bournemouth in the west, up to Oxford in the Cotswolds and across to Norwich in Norfolk.
Ask me about…….
Apprenticeships - Level 2 Activity Leadership (with PESS or Coaching Pathway), Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of PE and School Sport, Level 2 Award or Certificate in Multi-Skills.
When I am not working…….
I enjoy swimming, cycling and entertaining my young nieces and nephews.
I am the Liaison Officer at Canterbury Ladies Hockey Club. This is largely an administrative role but I also assist at 1st Team training sessions. At weekends during the season, I video their matches for team analysis and individual feedback.
My colleagues say…….
Gill is a pleasure to work with as she always brings a sense of humour and fun with her. An ex-PE teacher, Gill has a knack for making learners feel at ease very quickly. Gill has a vast amount of knowledge in the coaching sector and especially school sport delivery and she embeds this into her work through imaginative and engaging sessions.
