PPG17 and Open Space studies
The publication of Planning Policy Guidance Note 17 (July 2002) and its subsequent Companion Guide (September 2002), requires all local authorities to carry out assessments of needs and audits of open space and sports and recreational facilities’ in accordance with PPG17.
