Sport Structures has delivered award winning programmes for the benefit of people choosing sport as a way to improve their quality of life through Coaching or Volunteering. Our Awards include:
- Coaching intervention of the Year 2008
- Podium Award 2012 for Best Volunteer Programme (Personal Best)
- 6th in the National Lottery Awards (Sports Division) 2012
The company is built on our expertise and experience of developing coaches, volunteers and leaders in disadvantaged communities. We have achieved this through effective partnership working which as a result has enhanced their investment. These have included; Sandwell MBC, the Black Country Sport and Physical Activity Partnership, Birmingham City Council, Wolverhampton College, Sports Leaders UK, US Girls project, Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust, Department for Work and Pensions, West Midlands Childrens and Young peoples Sector and most recently The Skills Show.
We are delivering our national award winning coaching communities programme as a partner in the exciting Building Better Opportunities project funded jointly by the European Social Fund and the Big Lottery Fund to support people over the age of 25 to enhance their employability.
