Our Growth

Sport Structures Limited was formed by Simon Kirkland and incorporated on the 23rd of July 2002 with the aim of providing high quality, cost effective consultancy, management and administration services to sports organisations.

Our values are based on Simon’s experience of working with other consultancy companies as a client. He felt that many provided services to suit the timescales of the consultant and not always the requirements of the client, as well as a feeling that quality service values and standards were not always adhered to.

Therefore our vision through to April 2009 was " To be a leading sports consultancy that provides an inclusive professional solution, based on experience, knowledge and understanding."

Our progress has been such that we have recently revised our buisness plan through to 2013 with a new vision to be: 

"Successfully shaping the development of sport"

We now have a team of full time staff to support the company vision. Since 2002 we have supported over 40 National Governing Bodies of Sport, over two thirds of all County or Sub-regional Partnerships, all the major National Sports Organisations and a broad range of Local Authorities in over 400 projects.

We are registered to collect data in accordance with the principles of data protection act 1998. Statements relating to data protection are available within all aspects of the data collection in order for the respondents to be fully aware of the implications of their involvement , how their data will be stored and used within projects.
