Activity Alliance are seeking to develop a team of tutors to deliver their CIMSPA accredited Inclusive Activity Programme. The programme will equip delegates with the skills to engage disabled people and those with long term health conditions more effectively in physical activity.
IAP is a low-cost development opportunity which will upskill delegates on how to make activities fun and inclusive for everyone. It is ideal for the sport and leisure sector, community groups and organisations, disability organisations, and individuals supporting disabled people and people with long-term health conditions.
The programme has been designed to support delegates to make physical activity more inclusive for disabled people. As a tutor you will use a combination of theory and practical activity to help delegates in the following areas:
- How to apply a range of tools to make activities more inclusive
- Increase confidence and competence to include disabled people in their activities
- Reflect on their current delivery and identify how they can contribute to improving fairness for disabled people in sport and activity
- Access further support, training, and opportunities for themselves and for their organisation to become more inclusive
Please send a completed application form, the equal opportunities form and a copy of your CV by email to jo.pilgrim@sportstructures.com. You can do this in any format for ease of application, for example via video.
If you would like extra support to complete an application, please let us know.
